Zuri wa Asili meaning Natural Beauty in Swahili, is an African-female-owned business operating in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. It was established and registered in May 2022, when the founder saw a need to formalize the business.
The business was inspired by the founder’s personal struggles with Scalp Psoriasis and Seborrheic (Scalp) Dermatitis which made using commercial products difficult as they would cause skin flare ups. This coupled with a general interest in using sustainable alternative medication using natural herbs and oil ignited and interest in organic skin care solutions.
